Out-of-print books are harder to stock than new books, and some are hard to find, period. If the title you are seeking is not listed for sale above, that probably means that I am currently out of stock. However, I am always on the lookout for books, and will gladly quote you when I do find your coveted book. To add your name to my Wants Files, simply fill out a Book Request Form and I will e-mail you when I have a copy in stock. Thanks. |
| I received this book for my birthday 25
years
ago and it has been a favorite ever since. The copy I have now is
hardback
with a dust jacket and is in amazingly good condition. My mother and I
have been looking for additional copies for about 5 years. I saw this
book
listed on your customer wants list and would appreciate any information
you could give me. Thank you.
Good luck searching. :) My mother had this book and lost it to Hurricane Hugo. I have been desperately trying to replace it since. Please Help!! I found this book on Amazon.com, but it
costs
$324.47! Is this the going rate for this book?? Hi! I don't have a copy in stock but you can find more info on authors through Gale Research. Bill Cole was a well-known editor of poetry anthologies, especially children's books. He lived here in New York City but did pass away a couple of years ago. I had the pleasure of meeting him when he would come up to my apartment to sell spare kid's books from his own collection. Nice man! Another anthology he did contained excerpts from Punch Magazine. |
If you could find two copies of the
book, I would
be most appreciative. Amazon.com lists it in their web site as
out-of-print,
however, I am not able to connect to them in order to have them help
me.
So much better for you! I look forward to hearing from you.
Originally published in 1964. Another book by the same name was published in 1977 by Silverstein. I would be interested in either one. Thank you. Hi, I used to read this book to my younger sister and brothers. Sadly my sister passed away last June. My copy of the book waas lost in a house fire that took many of our posessions. I would love to have a copy in any condition. It is just for nostalgia. Thanks Just a note in case you had not heard
that a reprint
of this book is apparently coming out in March of 2002. |
