Bob Steward asked for an inflight mag check. So I captured another day of flight and riped out that part. The order you see is:

  • 2400 RPM, stright and level 2500MSL, 65F, just me (185lb) and 29.8 gallons.
  • Just right mag
  • Back to both mags
  • Just left mag
  • Back to both and increase to 2500 RPM
  • Just right mag
  • Back to both mags
  • Just left mag
  • Back to both mags and full power test (going off the graph)

    Cylinder Head Temperature

    Exhaust Gas Temperature

  • On just the right mag 1&3 drop 20 but 2&4 drop 10 in cht
  • On just the left mag 1&3 drop 10 but 2&4 drop 25 in cht
  • On just the right or left mag 4&3 get 20 hotter in relationship to 1&2 while all 4 go up 80 in egt
