The airport is 900MSL and I flew solo (185lb) at 2500MSL starting with 42.8 gallons of gas on 10/11/97. An overview of the one hour flight (datapoints every six seconds) always at full rich is:

  • takeoff and power reduction at 500AGL because of high CHT
  • climbing cool down
  • full power test
  • cool down (2400rpm)
  • bottom of green arc test
  • full power test
  • cool down and leaf peaking.
  • max cruise (400CHT on #2 that worked out to about 2500rpm)
  • full power test
  • getting to pattern
  • landing
